2nd Annual Team Hope 5K San Antonio Walk-A-Thon

Coming soon, on September 8th, 2007 San Antonio will be having it's 2nd Annual HDSA Walk.

And we have a special treat, the Phase II an Phase II HD Quilts will be on display. These are quilts that were put together by the HD community. Each square memorializes an HD Family member. These are truly blankets of love.

Last year, on September 16th over 120 people joined us at Woodlawn Park for the First Annual Walk for Hope in San Antonio. Walkers made the 5k trek around the lake and came back to lively music from a great sound system, a bubble machine and goodies for the kids and an endless supply of food. H-E-B graciously provided fruit, sodas, cookies, and more while The SmokeHouse kept us fed with BBQ brisket. Their smoker never stopped!!! All together, we raised a fantastic $9000 for HD research and care and had a blast doing it!
